Technology Public License (TPL)
The TPL is a conditional, copyleft license for TeknoX products (systems, hardware or software.) offered by TXgroup to companies or individuals.
Preamble
The TPL license is designed to promote freely sharing technology among individuals and educational establishments involved in a not-for-profit study or project. If anyone, including contributors, wish to use the product or technology in a for-profit application, such individual or company must obtain a specific license from the TXgroup. Such licenses, unique for each product or a subset thereof, are available worldwide and require only payment of royalties based on actual sales. There is no initial cost associated with the issue of the license, while the licensee must submit to proper and legal identification in accordance with TXgroup procedures.
We define “sharing technology” as the disclosure of electronic models, drawings, source code, and simulations that describe and analyze a TeknoX product.
Further specifications are in development and will be added here.
