Do you have an idea for a Minicar, similar but more efficient and cost effective than the Mini Car.? A one seat car (or two seats in tandem) could travel 120 miles per gallon and cost only $4200.00. Most components are available as off-the-shelf common items, requiring little development work.
Today, only major corporations can undertake such a project. The politics and the management of such project costs more than the actual development by a small team (online garage concept.)

We will finance the direct costs to encourage a team (called a work group) to design and develop a prototype for testing. With international cooperation, the group also designs the few tools or specifies the needed robotics. The design is implementable for short run production (a few thousand units.)
Entrepreneurs from everywhere in the globe can apply for a license to manufacture the Minicar on a royalty basis (no upfront payment for the license.) The same Minicar, with the same parts, and same tools will be produced by many relatively small to mid size companies. Independent auto and motorcycle shops can provide the needed service, certified by TeknoX, no matter who is the manufacturer. Aftermarket parts manufacturers will be able to compete in the production of the original and replacement parts.
