How do I get information about TXgroup?
Description and popup panes in the home page contain information about our mission and what you may expect to achieve by participating in TXgroup.org. You may get information about becoming a partner via a JVA.
As a partner, besides participating in the technical or business endeavors of our startup you should be interested in our efforts to obtain grants and income from multiple sources. Our plan is to provide an opportunity for stable employment or freelance income to the partners. Implementing Transmedia is our first project aiming at cash flow, while we are ready to solicit grants with Public-Voice. We need a few partners to complete our team, including a potential CEO.
Why there are so many fields in the registration form?

The process to create a new project consist of the member posting a proposal and promote the idea seeking collaborators via networking, blogs, discussions, and personal email to friends and contacts. If a sufficient number of collaborators endorse the idea on our website and are willing to organize and create the core of a startup, then they will be invited to join the TXgroup partnership via our JVA. This is what happened to Transmedia.
How to write a proposal in TXgroup
Proposals have no mandatory structure or formula. In fact, the structure of a proposal is as varied as the interests of the proponent. The idea behind writing a proposal is to develop a partnership to achieve a certain goal (such as a startup) depending on collaborators to carry it out. This is the same method used by Open Source Projects like Linux, Apache, Drupal, and many other successful enterprises.
However, there are some guidelines necessary to improve communications between the proponent and the sought candidates. The proposal should be written to answer the obvious first questions a candidate may have. Please use these guidelines as a check list.
· The title of the proposal should name the product or the organization intended to be created.
· Leading the proposal you should have an abstract or executive summary. This is the key element of your proposal.
o It should define the problem, your proposed solution, and the kind of collaboration you are expecting. Catch the reader's attention in this opening portion of the proposal so they want to read on.
o For example, in the Transmedia proposal, we included the following sentence: International collaborators wanted; we are looking for authors, programmers, scientists, illustrators, promoters, students, and people who feel that they can make a difference participating in this adventure. Just reply to this post listing your skills or the tasks you would like to perform.
· Develop a statement of need. Use current and accurate statistics to support this statement. This section is a way to give the reader hope that the problem, if addressed, can have a positive outcome. Convince the reader that your project is better than any other project out there or addresses a need which has no current solution.
· Create a project description. Include the objectives and methods (or technology description.) Give the reader an idea of what you plan to accomplish and how you plan on going about it.
· Conclusion. This is the place where you entice the collaboration. With Transmedia, we proposed financial reward as well as gratification with the planned achievements to improve and lower the cost of education.
If your proposal is lengthy (statement of need, description, and conclusion,) prepare a PDF file and attach to the proposal.
