College Workshops are an industry-academia initiative. The objective is to provide students with real-world experience that will enhance their resume and online profiles while promoting their school. In addition, the accomplished student and their faculty mentor will be granted equity position in each open source project in accordance with a Statement of Work (SOW) awarded at the start up of each workshop. University and College faculties, as well as students are welcomed to inquire about this program. Just post a response here to identify a workshop. Name your school in the subject line.
Presently, only the Transmedia project is active, of interest to programmers and faculty.
However, we will support the proponents for Workshop if they desire to initiate a project thus establishing the basis for a Federal Grant or Study.
